After completing a degree in Engineering Physics in the Mechanical Engineering option at Queen’s University, Abby has joined Offsetters to pursue her interest in clean energy projects. Abby’s focus at Queen’s University was on green design, working with a power distribution company to develop a model for implementing ground source heat pumps, conducting an energy audit on a local business, and taking courses on the science behind various clean technologies.

Abby also led the Living Energy Lab design team to reduce energy consumption in student homes through the design and implementation of new ideas, such as a dual flush toilet. The findings were then integrated into the community through outreach programs and events.
