Dana Wong - Analyst, R & D
Dana Wong joined Offsetters as Analyst in the Research and Development department, where she is responsible for expanding Offsetters' intellectual capital and reputation through leading edge research, development of benchmarking reports and policy proposals. Dana also conducts greenhouse gas accounting and reporting for Offsetters' clients.
Prior to joining Offsetters, Dana worked at PFC Energy, a strategic advisory firm to government and the energy industry. Based in the company's Washington, D.C. office, Dana's work as carbon policy analyst focused on analyzing international carbon markets and policy, clean energy development and energy policy. Dana has consulted for numerous global energy companies on issues pertaining to carbon strategy, policy and the transition to a low carbon energy economy. Dana has also worked at the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and at a non-government organization on carbon reduction projects and sustainable development practices.
Dana holds an M.A. degree in International Relations with a focus on Energy and Environmental Policy from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. She has previously worked and studied for several years in France and Italy, and she graduated from Whitman College with a B.A. (Hon) in Environmental Studies and Sociology.
