Phil is a Manager of Portfolio Development and a new Vancouverite. He joined our Portfolio Management and Carbon Trading team after an extensive career in financial services in London. Prior to Offsetters, Phil served as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Agency Lending, heading the London business unit and managing the trading desk, with responsibility for London based broker and trading relationships amongst a host of other accountabilities. He was active in the Stock Lending market place, sitting on the corporate governance committee for the global industry body which looks to guide legislation and best practice in this complex financial area.

Phil holds an MSc Climate Change and Risk Management from the University of Exeter and a BSc from the University of Hertfordshire. His postgraduate research focused on the European Emissions Trading Scheme and its relationship to European power and energy prices.
